How We Use Your Addresses

For Billing

Order used: Billing → Mailing → Local → Permanent

For General Mail & Communications

Order used: Mailing → Local → Permanent

For Mail Forwarding

Order used: Mailing → Permanent

Why your Permanent/Residency address matters: It’s required for official reporting (IPEDS, Clearinghouse, NSLDS, etc.) and must be a physical, legal residence—not a PO Box.

When and What to Update

Before each registration period, review and update the following in your student profile:

  • Permanent/Residency, Mailing, Local, and Billing addresses
  • Emergency contact information
  • Phone number and personal email address
  • Church of attendance (if requested)

You can use a PO Box for Mailing or Billing, but not for your Permanent/Residency address.
