An exceptional scholarship opportunity for Mississippi residents.
Thanks to the generosity of Leland Speed and his family, qualifying high school seniors and transfer students who are Mississippi residents can receive additional tuition support through the Speed Scholarship Program. This program combines the $2,000 per year Leland Speed Scholarship with stackable merit-based scholarships, helping make a private, Christian education at ±«Óătvmore attainable for Mississippi students.
Bicentennial Scholarship for incoming 2026 students
Qualified students entering ±«Óătvduring our bicentennial year will also receive the Bicentennial Scholarship as part of the Speed Scholarship Program. This scholarship will cover the remaining tuition at the 2026 rate for the remainder of their time at MC.
To Receive The Speed Scholarship:

Be a resident of Mississippi.

Be admitted to ±«Óătvand meet the qualifying ACT, SAT, or CLT test score.

Pay the housing application fee of $200 by May 1, 2026.

Live on campus in an ±«Óătvresidence hall.

Fill out the federal and state aid applications.
