Learn about how you could qualify to work on campus!

The Mississippi College Work Study program is a federal program that provides part-time jobs for undergraduate and graduate students to assist with their educational expenses. Students are required to complete a FAFSA via to determine their eligibility for the Federal Work Study (FWS) program. Depending on a student’s ±«Óătvdetermined cost of attendance (includes tuition, fees, book estimate, housing, food), financial aid offers and Student Aid Index (results of the student’s FAFSA based on tax information, income, etc.) the student may be eligible for FWS or Institutional work study.

The difference between FWS students and Institutional work study students is that the government pays a portion of the FWS student’s salary. International students are the only students who do not need to complete a FAFSA and they may be eligible for Institutional work study only.
