At Mississippi College, we believe that student employment is more than just having a job; it affords students the chance to grow outside of the classroom, both personally and professionally. This page will help you, whether student or supervisor, make the most of the student worker experience.

On-campus student employment opportunities are housed on Handshake, our online job platform. Every current student has an account. If you are a prospective student, please call our office for more information. 

For Students

We appreciate your interest in working on campus for Mississippi College.  If you have not logged in to Handshake before, click the button at the top of this page. You may log in using your My±«Óătvcredentials. Once you activate your account, complete your Handshake profile, and begin your job search! Download the Handshake mobile app for Quick Apply options.

Note: All students must complete a FAFSA, regardless of eligibility, to be considered for on-campus employment.

For Faculty & Staff

To advertise your student worker position(s) through the Office of Career Development and our online job platform, Handshake, you will need to log in or create an account. Once you register or log in, you may post your jobs for students to view. We realize that every department has different needs. Therefore, the system is customizable to fit your criteria.

Job Descriptions

The job description is an integral part of conveying to students your expectations for the position. Therefore, it is important to craft your description in a way that allows students to clearly understand the responsibilities associated with your job opening.
