Mississippi College will conduct a planned emergency scenario exercise on the Clinton campus tomorrow (Tuesday, Oct. 14) from 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. This exercise is a simulation and will be carried out in conjunction with ±«ÓãtvPublic Safety, the Clinton Police Department, and the Clinton Fire Department. Portions of Capitol Street and Hitt Drive and areas near the A.E. Wood Coliseum and Ratliff Hall will be closed beginning at 8:30 a.m. through the duration of the exercise. 

Please review the map below for the impacted streets. If you normally park in one of these areas, seek alternate parking before 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday. 

±«Óãtvfaculty, staff, and students may see or hear emergency vehicles, sirens, and staged emergency events in areas near the west side of the Clinton campus. All ±«Óãtvfaculty, staff and students are advised to remain calm and conduct classes and routine activities as usual.

Capitol Street and Hitt Drive, and areas impacted by the exercise, will be reopened by 12 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 14.
